The Little Big Fishing Tournament brought together 33 fishing boats and 165 anglers. Due to the high wind advisory, boats were given the opportunity to fish Thursday or Friday. Due to the success of this tournament, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands will be able to continue supporting at-risk youth in our community and can ensure that every child who needs support is able to receive it. “Since we started the tournament in in 2021 the tournament has raised over $675k for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands! We would not be able to raise all of this money without all of the generosity from our local community,” said E.J. Jaxtimer.

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands is to partner with under-resourced families to provide their children with transformational, one-to-one professionally-supported relationships with caring adult mentors, so that their children will thrive. We want youth to achieve their full potential, which only contributes to healthier families, better schools, brighter futures and stronger communities. Through three innovative program models we ensure children have more opportunities to be provided with a mentor.

A special thank you to the Baxter family and Baxter’s Fish ‘N Chips for sponsoring and hosting the tournament.
