The Wellfleet Shellfish Farmers Market will run every Saturday at the Wellfleet Pier through May 1, 2021. The next market is this Saturday, Dec. 19, from noon to 2 p.m. and will be the Christmas market.
The market on Wednesday, Dec. 30 from noon to 2 p.m. will be promoted for New Year’s Eve and Day. (There will not be a market on Dec. 26 or Jan. 2.) Then, they will happen each Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. (Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30; Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27; Mar. 6, 13, 20, 27; Apr. 3, 10, 17, 24; May 1.)
Through a partnership with wholesale dealer Holbrook Oyster Company, the State of Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries has allowed the Town of Wellfleet to organize a farmers’ market where shellfishermen can sell directly to consumers.
Pre-order is required through Wellfleetshellfishermen.org. COVID-19 protocols will be in effect. Contactless pick up from your car at the Pier. Please bring an ice filled cooler to keep your shellfish fresh!
