Shannon Crowley Named Principal At CLA

CLA, one of the leading professional services firms in the U.S., announced that Shannon Crowley, CPA, MSA, has advanced to the position of principal in the firm.

Joseph Kask, CLA’s managing principal for New England, said Crowley has been working in the firm’s nonprofit and education groups for the past 10 years. He said that her extensive knowledge throughout those industries in areas including independent schools, health and human service organizations, community and private foundations, arts, cultural and membership organizations, healthcare, and professional, trade and economic development associations has been an asset to the firm. Crowley works out of CLA’s Quincy office.

Crowley ShannonCrowley’s role at CLA includes overseeing audit engagements and being responsible for engagement planning, staff supervision, and coordination with client personnel to ensure successful completion of projects. Kask also serves as a member of CLA’s Employee Benefit Assurance Services Group, specializing in oversight, planning, and implementation of employee benefit plan audit engagements, including the audits of 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, and defined benefit plans.

Crowley received a bachelor of arts in Accounting from Saint Anselm College and a master of science in Accountancy from Northeastern University. A resident of Marshfield, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accounts. Crowley also serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield.
