Asset Management Resources, LLC has launched a new program to help individuals learn about the basics of personal finance.

The “Something More Mentoring” program provides a personal financial coach, who leads participants through a 12-month financial education and mentoring process, providing them positive reinforcement along the way. The program is intended to empower individuals to take the steps needed to reach their personal financial goals and learn how to handle finances responsibly.

Jeff Perry, J.D., Investment Advisor Representative at AMR, manages the  program. His approach is to provide individuals accountability, with a nurturing approach to their personal financial priorities.

“I am proud that we are able to offer the Something More Mentoring program to benefit those who have personal and financial goals, but don’t know where to start in managing their financial obligations or saving for the future.” said Chris Boyd, founder and Chief Executive Officer at AMR. “With Jeff Perry’s passion for personal financial planning and experience as a former college adjunct professor, he is the perfect individual to deliver these financial education workshops and mentoring sessions.”

The Something More Mentoring program includes 12 educational video lessons, each one followed by a personal mentoring session. Prior to starting the program, the coach works with each participant to develop a personalized educational plan that meets their individual needs. The 12 lessons focus on everything from goal setting, to banking and cashflow, debt and credit, insurance, emergency funds, career goals, investing, retirement planning and estate plan needs.
