The Arc of the South Shore, a family-oriented, community-based non-profit providing information, referrals, and community programs for individuals with disabilities, has named Lauren Van Iderstine of Pembroke to its Board of Directors.
In this capacity, she, along with other members of the board, will assist in overseeing the direction of the nonprofit that has helped more than 100,000 people throughout its 72-year history.
Van Iderstine is an attorney in the Workers’ Compensation Department with Keches Law Group, P.C. in Milton, representing injured persons in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security and related matters.
A graduate of UMass Dartmouth, Van Iderstine also holds a law degree from Southern New England School of Law. While in law school she volunteered with various nonprofit organizations that served the local community.
Van Iderstine is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and is a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association and International Bar Association.
