It has been 10 years since the Harwich Cranberry Festival has had Fireworks and one of the many things businesses, residents, town officials, and visitors all ask is “When will there be fireworks again?” After many meetings between the Harwich Chamber of Commerce, Town Departments, various committees, Fire, Police and Water departments its official Harwich will have Fireworks again during the Harwich Cranberry Festival. The Harwich Chamber of Commerce is proud and honored to be organizing and coordinating a Harwich favorite tradition and memory…The Harwich Chamber of Commerce and the Harwich Cranberry Festival are partnering to continue the growth of the Festival weekend in its new location behind the Harwich Community Center on Oak Street in Harwich.
The Harwich Chamber of Commerce Hometown Fireworks Presenting Sponsor is RPM Carpets and Floorcoverings located in East Harwich. This year we were very pleased to nominate and have Rick and Donna Morris receive the Abraham Penn Award for Community Service. The Saturday September 16th of Harwich Cranberry Festival Weekend is full of Arts and Crafters 10-5, Cran Jam 12noon-8:00PM and then the Fireworks will light up the sky. The Harwich Cranberry Festival and Cran Jam new location is behind the Community Center and that is also the Viewing for the Harwich Chamber of Commerce Hometown Fireworks. The Harwich Cranberry Festival Weekend is September 16 & 17, 2017 10am-5:00pm both days.
