Mary Chapin to oversee employed physician practices and hospital process improvements
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth (BID-Plymouth) announced that it has named Mary Chapin as Vice President of Ambulatory Services and Process Improvement. Chapin will have oversight of all BID-Plymouth employed physician practices as well as hospital-wide process improvement initiatives.

Chapin brings more than 30 years of experience in nursing and administrative operations with physician practices. Previously, she was the Chief Administrative Officer for the Faculty Practice Foundation at Boston Medical Center. During her tenure at Boston Medical Center, Mary had oversight of governance, strategic planning, and organizational development for the Faculty Practice Foundation. Prior to her role at Boston Medical Center, Mary held various inpatient and outpatient clinical and administrative roles over a 20-year period at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Mary earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Masters in Administration from Boston College.
