Pilot Event Offers Local Employer Showcase with a Virtual Twist
Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP), the organization for young and emerging professionals on Cape Cod, will present its first-ever Virtual Job Fair event next Tuesday, October 24 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
CCYP invites area job-seekers to attend either virtually, via a live-streamed employer showcase and speaker panel, or in-person at the Cape Cod Community Media Center (17 Shad Hole Road in Dennis Port). Following the Job Fair, CCYP will host an in-person networking event at 7 p.m., also at the Cape Cod Community Media Center. The event is made possible through generous sponsorship support from Rogers & Gray Insurance. Admission is FREE for both the Job Fair and networking event.
The Virtual Job Fair will provide an opportunity for job seekers to engage directly with some of Cape Cod’s largest and most prominent employers. The event will feature a panel discussion during which employers will provide a brief overview of their company, share an employee testimonial, and present a recruitment video. Employers and employees will answer questions from a moderator, and will also take questions from the in-studio and virtual audience.
Employers participating in this year’s inaugural Virtual Job Fair event include: Rogers & Gray Insurance; Cape Associates, Inc.; The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod; Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank; and Cape Cod Healthcare.
