Wareham Community Television (WCTV) proudly announces its transformation into Wareham
Media, marking a significant milestone in its journey to evolve with the changing landscape of
media consumption. This transition reflects the organization’s commitment to fostering
community engagement, promoting education, and championing storytelling in a dynamic
and multiplatform era.

Understanding that the way audiences consume content is evolving rapidly, Wareham Media is
expanding its services beyond traditional community television. With the launch of 505 Main
Media Conversion, Southcoast Live Sports, and Gateway Media, Wareham Media now offers a
comprehensive suite of professional services to complement its expanding coverage of local
government.

“Our mission has always been to empower the people of Wareham with the means to share
their stories,” said Michael Schochet, CEO of Wareham Media. “As we embrace the future of
community television, we are excited to introduce a range of new services and companies to
better serve our community and beyond.”

505 Main Media Conversion, a niche video and film transfer  business, is dedicated to preserving precious memories by converting them into digital formats, offering a local option with customer service not available from online or big-box services.

Southcoast Live Sports provides clients with high-quality production at a fraction of the cost. A
state-of-the-art mobile studio offers thrilling action from high school games to collegiate
competitions.

The Gateway Media entity includes original productions from concept to completion. WarehamMedia’s experienced team of writers, producers, directors, and video production professionals specialize in travel videos and campaigns, B2B marketing campaigns, corporate and
multimedia content, social media campaigns, documentaries, branded content, promos,
commercials, and marketing and sizzle reels.
“We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter as WarehamMedia and expand our impact
throughout the South Coast community,” added Jim Gilbert, executive director.
