Cape Abilities was nominated by Cape Cod Five and then selected to receive a $5,000 community grant from the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s 2017 Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Foundation.
The Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Foundation, supported by approximately 150 commercial, savings and co-operative banks and savings and loan associations banks throughout Massachusetts and New England, distributed grants over eight geographic regions in Massachusetts, giving awards to deserving social service agencies.
“We were very pleased to nominate Cape Abilities for the gift from the Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Foundation,” said Cape Cod Five President and CEO Dorothy Savarese. “We appreciate all the work that Cape Abilities does to empower citizens with disabilities by creating meaningful opportunities to work and contribute to the social fabric of our community.”
