NeighborWorks Housing Solutions Receives $40,000 Grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation

KINGSTON, QUINCY, TAUNTON, BROCKTON, NEW BEDFORD, FALL RIVER, MA ISSUED OCTOBER 15, 2024…NeighborWorks Housing Solutions (NHS; www.nhsmass.org), the leading housing service provider in southern Massachusetts, is grateful to the Wells Fargo Foundation for a recent donation in the amount of $40,000.
 
The donation positions the Foundation as the Neighborhood Sponsor of the NHS “Opening Doors, Changing Lives” Gala on November 7th at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy. The annual event is the housing service provider’s main fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the programs and people NHS serves.
 
The Wells Fargo Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations working to strengthen communities with a focus on supporting nonprofits that strategically align with the Foundation’s funding priorities, including housing affordability and financial health. Funding is prioritized to activities and programs that have a broad reach and support the needs of underserved communities and advance racial equity.
