The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce in partnership with The Steamship Authority and Red Jacket Resorts, is hosting their 2nd Annual Mid-Cape Tourism Summit on Thursday, May 31st, 2018, from 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM at Red Jacket Beach Resort in South, Yarmouth, MA. This is a free concierge event for members of the Dennis, Greater Hyannis, and Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce. The Summit is an information sharing session and aims to educate hoteliers, restaurateurs and other tourist-related businesses on customer service and Mid-Cape area tourism.
Mary Vilbon, Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce Executive Director said, “We are excited to be having our second Mid-Cape Tourism Summit and are able to expand it this year by including the Dennis Chamber of Commerce. We have some great speakers and exhibitors lined up and we hope that many of the staff from our tourist-related businesses won’t miss the opportunity to attend this educational event. They are welcome to attend all or just a portion of the day!”
There will be a marketplace with exhibitors from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM where attendees can learn more about tourism destinations and attractions located in the Mid-Cape area such as historical sites, leisure and family-friendly activities, recreation, museums, and special events.
Lisa Oliver, President and CEO of The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod, will be the keynote speaker for this year. There will be two workshops in the afternoon presented by CCAPE Corporate Trainer focusing on Communication Essentials and Cultural Diversity and Why It Matters in Customer Service.
Following the workshops, there will be an outdoor reception with appetizers, drinks, and live entertainment. It will be a great opportunity for attendees to network with others in their industry.
