Cape Cod Heat Pumps Moves To Mid Cape

Cape Cod Heat Pumps has relocated its offices from the Cranberry Highway in Sagamore to 381 Falmouth Road, Suite 32, in Marstons Mills.

The company, serving Cape Cod up to Orleans, and the Plymouth and Wareham areas, had been based in Sagamore since it was founded in 2016, in a 900-square-foot space that included an office and a showroom.  The new, 2,000-square-foot space includes office space and a 1,000-square-foot warehouse.

“The Mid Cape location allows us to more easily serve our customers,” said Jared Grier, company president and owner. “We can also keep our service items in stock.”

Mini heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to gas or oil-fired furnaces and air conditioners. Like your refrigerator, heat pumps use electricity to move heat from a cool space to a warm space, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer. Because they move heat rather than generate heat, heat pumps can provide equivalent space conditioning at as little as one quarter of the cost of operating conventional heating or cooling appliances.

Cape Cod Heat Pumps’ heating and cooling and systems can be customized to the homeowner’s space and lifestyle.

“They are great for retrofits, are minimally invasive to an existing home, and are a great cooling system for the summer and supplemental heat in the winter (if not the main source of heat),” said Grier.

The systems can be installed in new construction or replace existing natural gas or oil furnaces. The company has also partnered with E2 Solar in Dennis. Cape Cod Heat Pumps also installs traditional heating systems.

Grier sees energy efficient heat pumps as the new wave of the future in heating and cooling systems due to the concern about fossil fuels’ contribution to climate change. “I think fossil fuels will eventually be phased out and some communities are already banning natural gas or oil heating systems in new construction,” Grier said.

The Marstons Mills office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
