A book signing and release party for Stacy Padula will be held Sunday, Aug. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Book Love in the Pinehills at The Mayflower Beer Garden.
All 13 of Padula’s books will be available for purchase. Ten percent of all publishing proceeds will be donated to animal rescues. Book buyers will receive a raffle ticket for every book they purchase. Prizes include a pair of Bruins tickets, a gift bag of books from local publisher Briley & Baxter Publications, and other gifts. The Mayflower Beer Garden will have pop-up shops, live music and a food truck.
Padula is founder and President of Briley & Baxter Publications LLC, a Plymouth-based publishing company in support of animal rescues.
Padula is a published author of young adult books., including the “Montgomery Lake High” series and the “Gripped” series. “Gripped” is currently being adapted for television by Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Mark Blutman (best known for “Boy Meets World,” “Girl Meets World” and “Ghostwriter”).
In 2020, Padula co-created a children’s book series with NBA Coach Brett Gunning titled “On the Right Path,” which shares life lessons with readers through the game of basketball.
