An open meeting with The Barnstable Town Council, Barnstable Town Manager and staff will take place Monday, Oct., 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Barnstable High School, 477 W. Main Street, Hyannis.

The meeting was scheduled after a petition was received by the town from more than 500 residents who had questions and concerns about the proposed Park City Wind and Commonwealth Wind offshore wind projects and the developer’s plans to land the projects’ electrical transmission cables at Craigville Beach and Dowses Beach, respectively.

The permitting for Park City Wind is currently before the Barnstable Conservation Commission.

The meeting is sponsored by the Centerville Civic Association. No registration is required, however, questions should be submitted in advance to:  BarnstableSpeaks@gmail.com
