BayCoast Bank Names McMahon Senior Vice President, Community Engagement

BayCoast Bank (Baycoast.bank) has announced that John P. McMahon of Swansea has been named Senior Vice President of Community Engagement.

McMahon, BayCoastMcMahon brings more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry to his new post at BayCoast Bank. Most recently he served as Vice President, Marketing and Real Estate for Mechanics Cooperative Bank.

McMahon offers a depth of expertise in marketing, sales, strategic planning, budgeting and compliance and has proven success in leadership, team building, communication, and critical decision-making. In this role, McMahon supervises numerous areas of engagement for BayCoast Bank including Corporate Giving, Marketing, the Community Reinvestment Act, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as well as the customer Contact Center and Interactive Teller Machine departments.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Management, McMahon is a board member of the Bristol Community College Foundation and also serves on the Fall River United Way Allocation Committee.
