BayCoast Bank Promotes Ashley Silva To Merchant Underwriting And Risk Officer

BayCoast Bank (http://baycoastbank.com) has announced the promotion of Ashley Silva of Fall River to merchant underwriting and risk officer.

In this role, Silva is responsible for underwriting new merchant processing applications in addition to preparing various reports for senior management, participating in program audits, project management and a variety of other tasks.

Silva, who has worked within the banking industry for close to 15 years, began her career with BayCoast Bank in 2016 as a Bank Secrecy Act Analyst II, moving into the Merchant Program as senior underwriting and risk analyst. Prior to joining BayCoast Bank, she was an anti-money laundering analyst with Citizens Bank.

She received an associate of arts degree in Business from the University of Phoenix and holds a  Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification.

An active volunteer with the United Way of Greater Fall River, Silva is a member of the organization’s Community Impact Grant Panel, its Allocations Panel and COVID-19 Relief Fund panel.
