BayCoast Bank has announced the promotion of Melissa Byers of Lodi, Wisc. to first vice president, Merchant Program.
In this role, Byers oversees and directs functions related to the continued success of the bank’s merchant program with responsibilities that includes daily settlement activities, accurate billing of clients and ensuring that the program is compliant with all card brand regulations and policies.
Byers joined BayCoast Bank in March 2016 as assistant vice president of the Merchant Program and was promoted to vice president in January 2020. Her previous industry experience includes as director of operations with Automated Merchant Systems, Inc. in Altamonte Springs, Fla., and as operations manager with FIS in Madison, Wisc.
She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor of science degree in Natural Sciences and Wildlife Ecology.
