SWANSEA, HALIFAX, MA – BayCoast Bank (baycoast.bank), a long-time community savings bank serving the people and businesses on the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is pleased to announce that Nancy L. Silva of Halifax, Massachusetts, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations.
In this role, Silva provides overall leadership and management for the Deposit and Loan Operations departments. She also develops a strategic vision for Deposit and Loan Operations that aligns with the Bank’s initiatives. Silva sets and implements department goals to streamline workflows and operational efficiencies, enhancing productivity.
Silva, who has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, joined the BayCoast family in 2009 as Assistant Vice President, Collections Manager. She most recently held the position of First Vice President, Operations for the Bank. Prior to her time at BayCoast, she worked in the financial industry as a Collections Officer, Manager and Adjuster.
A graduate of Bristol Community College with a degree in Business Administration and Management, Silva also attended the New England School of Finance.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Silva supports the community by volunteering for Plymouth County 4H, participating in their Round-of-A-Paws dog club, which encourages local youth to develop a love and compassion for animals. She also serves as a member of the United Way Allocation Committee, a position she has held since 2019.
