BayCoast Bank Promotes Scott P. Lopes to Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Talent Officer

SWANSEA, MA – BayCoast Bank (baycoast.bank ), a community savings bank with a strong history of serving the people and businesses on the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is proud to announce the promotion of Scott P. Lopes of Swansea, Massachusetts, to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Talent Officer.

Lopes has 24 years of experience in the banking industry, beginning his career at age 16 as a part-time teller for First Federal Savings Bank of America. He later joined Human Resources at Webster Bank, running training programs in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Lopes joined BayCoast Bank in 2012 as Assistant Vice President, Training and Development Officer, a role he held until 2020, when he was promoted to Vice President, Human Resources Training and Development Officer. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Post University and went on to achieve his Master’s degree in Human Resources from Cambridge College.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Lopes has a passion for music. He is in his eighth year as Conductor and Musical Director for the Our Lady of Light Band of Fall River.
