Brewster Dog Park Seeks Sponsors For Fencing Project

The Brewster Dog Park is seeking business sponsors for a project to install low-level fencing protect the ornamental plants and shrubs just outside of the park perimeter and the ornamental beach grass in the parking lot.

These plants create a welcoming entrance to the park, but are all too often getting trampled on by dogs.  The goal is to erect to keep them healthy and thriving.

IMG 8360The Friends of the Brewster Dog Park committee is seeking sponsors to help fund or provide in-kind materials for the fencing, which will consist of heavy-duty rope and wooden posts, consistent with a nautical, “Cape Cod” look.

Since opening the gates last May, the Brewster Dog Park, located at 631 Harwich Road, has welcomed hundreds of people and their pups on a daily basis.  The dog park was made possible with the generous donations of the community.

Recognition for donors will include a customizable sign near the main entrance, recognition and logo on the dog park website (currently under development), recognition in a dog park newsletter and Facebook page, and a press release and photo announcing the gift.
