Cape Abilities’ signature fund-raising event, the Cape Abilities Walk for Opportunity (formerly The Harbor Walk) will take place Saturday, June 25, beginning at the Hyannis Village Green.
The walk, sponsored by The Arbella Insurance Foundation, will be held on Saturday, June 25, at the Hyannis Village Green on Main Street. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a goal of bringing together Cape Abilities staff, individuals and the broader Cape Cod community. This 2.2-mile loop has been a signature event of the organization for more than a decade.
“We are thrilled to come back together in-person, and with a new name for our annual walk,” said Kim McElholm, president and CEO of Cape Abilities. “This walk is about celebrating our incredible community, and recognizing the importance of what drives our mission: opportunity.”
The honorary chair of this year’s event is Lisa Oliver, chair, president and CEO of The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod.
Attendees are encouraged to register in advance – the first 500 registrants will receive a free Walk for Opportunity t-shirt.
