Recipients of 30th Annual Award, CIVOC is dedicated to the support of our military
veterans and their families
Jim Seymour, Executive Director of the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach
Center, today announced that CIVOC has been named Nonprofit of the Year by Score
Cape Cod and the Islands. The announcement today was made by SCORE CEO Bridget
Weston.
In addition to their focus on supporting small businesses, SCORE has an experienced team
that supports non-profits in our community. They help organizations build effective
boards by understanding members’ roles and responsibilities, they provide one-on-one
executive director coaching and chair mentoring, and they facilitate fund development
planning and strategic plans.
SCORE Cape Cod and the Islands and the local Chambers of Commerce will recognize a
range of Small Business of the Year award winners at its 30th Annual Awards Breakfast,
which will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 7:30 am, at the Family Table
