Cape Cod Association Offers Heritage-Based Scholarships for Local Students

South Yarmouth – The Cape Cod Association is now accepting scholarship applications. Last year, the organization awarded $503,500 to 337 local students pursuing higher education.
Applicants who were born on and currently reside on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, or Nantucket are eligible to apply. Cape and Islands heritage, academic merit, and extracurricular activities are considered in the selection process.

Scholarships are offered to graduating high school seniors for up to four years of an undergraduate program and current college students who are past recipients of a Cape Cod Association award. Applicants may attend two- and four-year colleges and universities or technical schools anywhere in the United States. The organization does not fund graduate education.

The application deadline for past recipients of a Cape Cod Association scholarship is 11:59 pm on March 15, 2024. The deadline for high school seniors is 11:59 pm on April 1, 2024. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

The Association has been helping Cape Cod students achieve success in higher education since 1851. Over the past decade alone, it has distributed more than 3,000 awards, totaling over $4 million.
