The Cape Cod Association is now accepting applications for its 2023 scholarship program. Last year, the organization awarded $552,000 to 309 local students pursuing higher education.

Applicants who were born on and currently reside on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket are eligible to apply. Academic merit, extracurricular activities, and financial need are also considered.

Scholarships are offered to graduating high school seniors for up to four years of an undergraduate program and current college students who are past recipients of a Cape Cod Association award. Applicants may attend two- and four-year colleges and universities, technical schools, and community colleges anywhere in the United States. The organization does not fund graduate education.

The application deadline for past recipients of a Cape Cod Association scholarship is 11:59 p.m. on March 15, 2023. The deadline for high school seniors is 11:59 p.m. on April 1, 2023. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

The Association has been helping Cape Cod students achieve success in higher education since 1851. Over the past decade, it has distributed more than 3,000 awards, totaling over $4 million.

The application process is entirely online. Visit www.capecodassoc.org for additional information and link to application. For questions, contact Mary Beth Burwood, Scholarship Officer at 508-790-3040 or email info@capecodassoc.org
