Cape Cod Gateway Airport will host ‘A Great Day at the Gateway’ on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the airport.

“We are so thrilled to host ‘A Great Day at the Gateway’ this year,” said Cape Cod Gateway Airport Manager Katie Servis. “The spirit of flight has been a staple of American culture since the Wright brothers took off for the first time in 1903. Instilling that same spirit into our youth 120 years later shows the ever-lasting impact that flight has had on our lives,” From commercial and recreational use to search and rescue operations and defending our nation’s values, we are proud to display our appreciation for flight through this program.”
The event will also include music from The Company Bees, Colum Cille Pipes and Drums and Cape Country 104.
Food trucks and artisan vendors participating in the event will include Veterans Lunch Box, Island Café & Grille, Good Times Cape Cod – Ice Cream Truck, Mom on the Go, Capeside Kitchen Beach Patrol, Brews and Cips, and Cape Cod Beer.
This event is sponsored by Cape Air, the Horsley-Witten Group and Airport Solutions Group.
