Cape Wellness Collaborative to Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary With Open House, Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser

Cape Cod non-profit celebrates significant milestone with first-ever Day of Giving event

South Yarmouth, MA —   Cape Wellness Collaborative (CWC), a Cape Cod-based 501(c)(3) offering free-of-charge integrative wellness therapies and support for anyone on Cape Cod & the Islands facing cancer, is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary with an open house event at its South Yarmouth office on May 22, 2024, and a month-long peer-to-peer fundraiser.  The open house will be hosted at CWC’s offices (436b Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664) from 12-3 PM, open to the public, and will include light refreshments, tours of the office & art gallery, staff & board meet-and-greet, and more.

Leading up to the open house event, CWC is hosting a peer-to-peer fundraising initiative, culminating in the organization’s first Day of Giving on May 22, 2024. For a month leading up to the Day of Giving, supporters will fundraise amongst their friends and families on behalf of CWC using the organization’s online fundraising platform. The fundraising goal of this event is $10,000.

“The need for holistic, personalized, integrative cancer support continues to increase as incidences of cancer grow,” said Abby Field, Chief Executive Officer of CWC. “At CWC, we continue to provide compassionate integrative therapies, nutritious meals, and community support that meets our members where they are at. The funds raised during our first-ever Day of Giving will launch us into the next 10 years of devoted service to the health of our community.”

For the past 10 years, Cape Wellness Collaborative has provided integrative therapies to Cape Codders facing cancer.  Today, CWC serves more than 1,000 people annually and partners with practitioners across the Cape to provide yoga, massage, acupuncture, and other therapies to relieve symptoms and side effects of treatment and recovery.  CWC also offers fresh, handcrafted nourishing meals (over 11,000 served to date) and support groups for members and their caregivers.
