South Yarmouth, MA —   Cape Wellness Collaborative (CWC), a Cape Cod-based 501(c)(3) offering free-of-charge integrative wellness therapies and support for residents of Cape Cod and the Islands facing cancer, will host their annual fundraising gala on October 25, 2024, at the Pelham House Resort in Dennis Port. Tickets are currently available for purchase at https://www.capewellness.org/masquerade-gala-2024.

Presented by Hess & Helyn Kline Foundation, MARJO Family FUN-raising to Beat Leukemia and Cancer, and The West End, this year’s gala event will be masquerade-themed and promises to be an unforgettable and moving evening bound to inspire and ignite hope. The event will feature music by the Bart Weisman Smooth Jazz Group, a roaming magician, a seated dinner, and cocktails and wine. As the organization’s largest fundraising event of the year, the Masquerade Gala will celebrate the individuals who support CWC’s year-round mission and aims to bring further comfort and relief to Cape Cod residents impacted by cancer.

“We hope our supporters will join us for a festive, inspiring, and celebratory night,” said Carol Bosco Baumann, Chief Executive Officer of CWC. “As our premier fundraising event of the year, the Masquerade Gala helps fund integrative therapies, nutritious meals, and other resources to hundreds of people facing cancer across Cape Cod. Integrative care is often not covered by insurance, despite the comfort and relief these therapies provide. Attendance and contributions help us provide these vital therapies to fellow Cape Codders at no charge.”

Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Those interested in learning more can contact Kelley Carroll, Development Coordinator, at kelley@capewellness.org. In addition to the presenting sponsors listed above, this year’s Masquerade Gala sponsors also include Nauset Optical and the Palmer & Jane D. Davenport Foundation.

For the past 10 years, Cape Wellness Collaborative has provided integrative therapies to Cape Codders facing cancer. Today, CWC serves approximately 1,000 people each year and partners with practitioners across the Cape to provide yoga, massage, acupuncture, and other therapies to relieve symptoms and side effects of treatment and recovery.  CWC also offers fresh, handcrafted nourishing meals (more than 6,000 served to date) and mental health support group.
