CCYP Back To Business Bash Scheduled For Sept. 23

Cape Cod Young Professionals, Inc. will be hosting its Capewide Back to Business Bash on Thursday, Sept. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at seven sites around the region.

Join CCYP for an evening of reconnecting, making new connections and celebrating the Cape community. Bash sites include: Bad Martha, Cape Cod Beer, Cape Cod Coffee’s Roasting Facility, Cleat & Anchor, Hog Island Beer Co., Truro Vineyards and West End.

Tickets are available through the CCYP website. Advance registration is required. Each Bash site has limited capacity and tickets are first-come, first-served.

“These days, Cape Cod’s community connections are more important than ever. This year’s Cape-wide Bash will provide an in-person opportunity to reestablish old connections and create new ones,” said Casey Chatelain, CCYP Connect Events Committee Chair, 2021 Bash Co-Chair, and Special Project Manager, Barnstable Clean Water Coalition.

Each of the venues will have special features, from Pizza Barbone providing delicious appetizers to complement the locally crafted wines at Truro Vineyards to the Kareem Sanjaghi Band playing upbeat jazz at West End in Hyannis while Bash attendees enjoy specialty cocktails. Shipyard Boulders will be setting up lots of fun games at Bad Martha in Falmouth and Polar Cave will be bringing homemade ice cream samples for participants to enjoy at Cape Cod Coffee’s Roasting Facility in Mashpee. Cape musicians will set the tone for an evening of networking and fun at Hog Island and Cleat & Anchor. At Cape Cod Beer, participants will enjoy samples from JP’s Twisted BBQ and live entertainment. All Bash participants will be entered in giveaway drawings, with unique prizes including tickets to Cape musical performances and museums, specialty items from local businesses, and sailing lessons and kayaking packages.

“CCYP has been an irreplaceable asset to me in my career, connecting me to other local professionals who have helped me launch and grow my own business,” said Sara Kohls, CCYP President and Attorney, Law Offices of Sara J. Kohls. “We are very excited to bring back the re-envisioned Bash this year, to give our attendees the opportunity to make new connections and reconnect with old friends and colleagues.”

All Bash ticket and sponsorship proceeds support CCYP’s efforts to shape the Cape’s future by connecting, engaging, and advancing the region’s current, emerging and future leaders. In addition, 100 percent of the donations to this year’s Bash fundraiser will go directly to CCYP’s Career Connect Scholarship Program, which supports working Cape Codders in advancing their careers through higher education degrees and certificates, professional development courses and technical training programs.

The 2021 Bash Presenting Sponsor is The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod.
