Community Connections has opened the Flower Angels Thrift Store at 851 Route 28, No. 3, South Yarmouth to raise money for the Flower Angels, a nonprofit affiliated with Community Connections Inc.
Founded in 2014, Flower Angels is rooted in the understanding that nursing home residents often feel isolated. Flower Angels volunteers repurpose donated flowers into floral arrangements for delivery twice a week to Cape Cod nursing home residents.
Donations of flower-themed and gently-used items are being accepted for the Flower Angels Thrift Store, such as flower-adorned kitchen items, costume jewelry, dishware, wall hangings, collectables, accessories to home appointments (small furniture is welcome, too) and gently-used garden items.

Flower Angels is a self-funded program of Community Connections Inc., which offers services to adults with disabilities at eight locations throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod.
