Community Health Center of Cape Cod is currently hosting a Celebrating Local Wellness Online Auction, running through Friday, Aug. 28 at 12 p.m. at www.bit.ly/chcauction.
Proceeds from this event will go to support services that the Health Center offers but are not always reimbursable through insurance, including health education, assessment of transportation, financial and housing barriers to care and insurance enrollment services. The Health Center relies on the good will and generosity of the community to help meet its mission and is appreciative of all the item donors and bidders. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the continued support of the community has been more important to them than ever.
There are more than 50 auction packages to bid on, including a trip to Bermuda, a Virtual Cooking Class for 10, Cape Cod excursions and outings, works of art and one-of-a-kind experiences.
Anyone is welcome to bid, and you can do so by visiting the Health Center’s website: CHCofCapeCod.org. Donated items for the auction are also still being accepted.
As part of the event, the Health Center will also host a Workshop on Stress and Mindfulness with Calmer Choice on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. RSVP with cellis@chcofcapecod.org to get the full event information.
