The Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod and the Islands (CLI) is accepting nominations for the 16th annual Community Leadership Award.  The award is given to an individual who has made significant leadership contributions to the Cape Cod community. Recipients are selected from nominations submitted to the CLI Board of Directors. Past winners include Joel Crowell of the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod, Shawn Delude of Nauset Disposal and Beth Marcus of Cape Cod Beer.
Founded in 1992, CLI is a non-profit organization that fosters the growth of community and business leaders on Cape Cod.  CLI’s hallmark training program is the Leadership Cape Cod series of seminars, which immerse participants in all aspects of Cape Cod.  The six-month session covers areas as diverse as education, arts, legal system, environment, health care, and media.  More than 600 of Cape Cod’s leaders have graduated from the program.
This year’s Leadership Award will be given out at the Leadership Cape Cod graduation on June 7.  Criteria used in selecting the recipient include living or working in the Cape Cod community, community-service involvement, and leadership contributions to the Cape Cod community.  Nominations should be submitted via the CLI website (https://www.clicapecod.org/leadership-award ) by April 3.
