Cleangreen announces the promotion of Annette Contonio to Director of Operations and Finance.
“Since 2016, Annette has been a vital member of our team and has helped us grow as a company,” says Cleangreen CEO Jitka Borowick. “We would not be where we are today without her. We look forward to her continuing to lend her time, energy and talents so we can remain a leader in the community as an eco-friendly cleaning company on Cape Cod.”
Over the past four years, Contonio has served as Cleangreen’s operations manager. “This is such a great place to work,” she said. “I’m amazed at how hard Jitka and our staff works. I’ve loved being a part of this team, helping build up Cleangreen, and seeing the business grow.”
In her new role, Contonio will oversee the company’s daily operations, staff and client scheduling, invoicing, and day-to-day finances.
Now in its 12th year, Cleangreen provides residential, commercial, and construction cleaning services throughout Cape Cod. It does so while maintaining a commitment to the environment. Cleangreen is one of only eight companies in the region to have achieved Level 2 certification as a Cape & Islands Green Business.
Prior to coming to Cleangreen, Contonio was the executive director of Chatham Interiors. She spent 13 years as a property manager for The Lock Up Self Storage in South Yarmouth.
A native of New Zealand, Contonio lives in Dennis with her husband Chad and their two children Luke and Ella. Contonio currently serves as the president of the Parent-Teacher Organization of the Nathaniel H. Wixon Innovation School in South Dennis, is a board member of the Yarmouth-Dennis Youth Hockey Association and is on the Board of Trustees for the Cape Crossroads Condominiums in Hyannis.
