Yarmouth-Dennis Schedule Community Cleanup Day

A Community Cleanup Day in the towns of Yarmouth and Dennis will take place Saturday, April 17,  (rain or shine). The event is being done in partnership with the Town of Yarmouth, Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce, Dennis Chamber of Commerce, Town of Dennis, CARE for the Cape and Islands and Friends of Bass River.

Grab your own trash bags, disposal gloves and pickers and either clean up your neighborhood, the property around your business or one of the many spots we have suggested that needs some TLC.

You can either put the trash in your own trash bins, drop it off at the Yarmouth dump (sticker required) or you can drop it off by 2 p.m. at one of three locations in Yarmouth (locations will be given to registered attendees prior to the event).

“We are so fortunate to partner with so many wonderful organizations and offer a joint Community Cleanup Day for Yarmouth and Dennis,” noted Jennifer Werner, marketing, communications and events director of the Yarmouth Chamber. “We were unable to have our Cleanup Day last year due to COVID-19, so we are looking forward to having our residents make a positive impact in both communities this year.”

Yarmouth volunteers should register in advance at yarmouthcapecod.com in order to receive communications/instructions prior to the event. Volunteers must sign a waiver to participate.
