Applications are now open for a free EforAll program to help Cape Codders turn their dreams into businesses.
Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll is a nonprofit organization that opened its doors in 2018 to help bridge the housing-wage gap on Cape Cod. It does this through a free program that arms ambitious Cape Codders with business skills training, a team of three mentors, and seed money to set them on the road to sustainable business ownership.
In the past 12 months, EforAll awarded $50,750 to 41 different local entrepreneurs.
Offered twice a year, the “Business 101” type bootcamp accelerator program accepts 15 entrepreneurial ventures. The ventures can be at the idea stage, newly starting out, or established businesses looking to expand in significant ways. No prior business experience is required to apply and be accepted to the program.
“Being awarded money by EforAll gave me the jump start I needed to launch my first brick and mortar location,” said Ashley Dufresne, owner of Ashley Irene Boutique, located at Mashpee Commons. “But it was way more than just money for me; it was a reminder that as a business owner I was supported and most importantly, my mission and passion was believed in. The money was a cherry on top of an outstanding program that changed the course of my life and business.”
The deadline for applications for the fall 2022 program is Aug. 10. Applications can be found at: tinyurl.com/ccFall22
