Elevate Counseling Services Promotes Allyson Balara

Elevate Counseling Services, serving the needs of clients from South Easton, Raynham, Lakeville and Bellingham, has promoted Allyson Balara of Easton to Assistant Director of the Child and Family Team.

Prior to this promotion, Balara served Associate Director. In this new role, she will supervise all clinicians who work with children ages 12 and under, across all of the practice’s locations. Her role will include training, hiring new staff, and building the team. She works primarily out of the Easton location.

Balara joined Elevate Counseling Services in 2017 as a clinician. Prior to that, she was a Case Manager for Beacon Health, and before that she worked in the field of community mental health. She had some experience additionally as a school counselor during an internship at the University of New Orleans. She earned her master’s degree from the University of New Orleans and her undergraduate degree from Bridgewater State University. She holds the Licensed Mental Health Counselor designation.

In addition to her role as Assistant Director, she also maintains a full schedule of seeing clients from the practice’s Easton location. Her areas of specialization include working with children and teenagers managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, self-esteem and parenting issues.
