Elevate Counseling Services Promotes Allyson Balara

 EASTON — Elevate Counseling Services, which serves clients in South Easton, Middleboro and Bellingham, has promoted Allyson Balara of Easton to associate director of the Children’s Team.

In this role, she will supervise all clinicians who work with children ages 12 and under, across all of the practice’s locations. She works primarily out of the Easton location.

Balara joined Elevate Counseling Services in 2017 as a clinician. Prior to that, she was a case manager for Beacon Health and worked in the field of community mental health. She had some experience additionally as a school counselor during an internship at the University of New Orleans. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University and a masters’ degree from the University of New Orleans. She holds the Licensed Mental Health Counselor designation.

Her area of specialization is working with children and teenagers managing anxiety and building coping skills to manage stressors.
