Elevate Counseling Services Promotes Ashley Luongo

Elevate Counseling Services, serving the needs of clients in South Easton, Middleboro and Bellingham, has promoted Ashley Luongo to assistant director of Clinical Operations.

She previously held the position of associate administrative director of the practice’s Bellingham location.

Ashley LuongoIn her expanded role, she will focus on growing the groups that Elevate Counseling is offering to its clients. She is working with CEO Leigh-Ann Larson on expanding the topics and numbers of groups that are available.

Presently, Elevate Couseling offers Mindfulness groups on “Retreating Into Greater Self-Love,” ”Creating Grief Space,” “Mindful Recovering,” “Stress Less with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)Skills,” and “Support for Socially Anxious Teens.”  Groups include a variety of modalities including: CBT drills, DBT skills, mindful meditation and expressive therapies including art, journaling, music and movement.

She will continue with her other duties as well, which include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice’s Bellingham location, including administrative and training functions. She additionally maintains her own caseload of clients, with a concentration on high school teenagers.

Prior to joining Elevate Counseling Services in 2017 as a clinician, she worked in community mental health in Boston and on the South Shore, as well as in home therapy.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from Curry College and a master’s degree from Assumption College, and holds the Licensed Mental Health Counselor designation.
