Food Pantries Receive $30,000 In Support From North Easton Savings Bank

North Easton Savings Bank recently donated $30,000 across several food pantries located throughout southeastern Massachusetts to help with the increasing food insecurity among local area families. The most recent support follows a total donation of $60,000 in 2020 to the same food pantries, which was given as a direct response to the community needs brought forth by the pandemic.

“We feel as this region’s community bank, it is our privilege and also obligation to support our neighbors; especially during a time when people are most in need,” said Rich Spencer, president and CEO of North Easton Savings Bank. “Community food pantries are a vital resource for so many, and it is our honor to once again partner with these organizations that so many count on to help sustain their households.”

The bank partners with SVDP Whitman Food Pantry, Shane Gives Thanks Carver, SVDP through St. Peter’s Parish, Plymouth; Halifax Helping Hands Food Pantry, SVDP Halifax Food Pantry, Hanson Food Pantry, Easton Food Pantry, Cupboard of Kindness Norton Food Pantry, Our Daily Bread, Mansfield;  SVDP Sacred Heart Food Pantry, Middleboro; Pembroke Food Pantry, Lenore’s Pantry, North Attleboro; Bridgewater Food Pantry at Central Square Congregational Church, East Bridgewater Food Pantry, West Bridgewater Food Pantry and SVDP Abington Food Pantry.
