FORWARD (Friends Or Relatives With Autism & Related Disabilities) has announced the winners of its Rock Star Awards.
The awards will be presented at FORWARD’s Dec. 3 fundraising event, WineFORWARD, which features a tasting of four Truro Vineyards wines. The event will be via Zoom and produced and broadcast by Cape Media Center.
“These winners exemplify the deep caring and generosity within our community, but we also thank all of the many other individuals, businesses and organizations who have contributed to the success of FORWARD at the Rock, and we are grateful for the outpouring of community support we’ve received,” said Kathy Ohman, FORWARD board president.
This year’s award winners are:
The Village Garden Club of Dennis for the creation of CPC Circle. Assisting the Garden Club were the Hydrangea Society of Cape Cod, Strictly Hydrangeas, Anytime Landscaping, and Starboard Side Landscaping.
Agway of Cape Cod for The Hokum Hens. Assisting Agway were Cape Associates, Inc. and Mid-Cape Home Centers.
The Dennis Police Association and the Cookie Caper for Autism Awareness.
Liam Ohman for Volunteer Organizational Support.
