FPA MA elects J. Christopher Boyd of Asset Management Resources as President for 2018

The Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts is pleased to announce the election of Chris Boyd, CFP, as President of the Board of Directors for 2018.
Chris has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2014; he chaired the Programming committee for one year and the Membership committee for two years previously.  Boyd is eager to further the efforts of his predecessors leading FPA MA as an innovative chapter and to become the largest chapter in the nation.  The chapter has been active in cultivating numerous constituencies within the financial planning community, including the NexGen demographic for advisors under 37, a Women’s community, and various local networking practice groups. The chapter’s pro bono community outreach activities have helped multitudes of families whether families of cancer patients at Dana Farber, of deployed military families, or local low-income communities.  As the leading financial planning community for CFPs, the Financial Planning Association is dedicated to the financial planning process.  This process helps to craft strategies & guidance that integrate the management of wealth.
With over 25 years of experience in this field, Chris is the founder and Chief Financial Officer of Asset Management Resources, LLC (AMR), a leading financial planning and portfolio management Registered Investment Advisory firm based on Cape Cod and Dedham.  AMR serves those intent on a secure retirement. Chris also shares his knowledge by hosting Cape Cod’s weekend financial radio show, “Something More with Chris Boyd” on WXTK 95.1 FM.  His popular show has been on air for 10 years, and is broadcast every Saturday from 3-5 pm.
