Viewing Sandwich’s holiday light display of glass “giants” has been a popular spectacle since the mid-1990s and on Wednesday, Dec. 15, the latest of glass artisan Michael Magyar’s “giants” will join 74 others along Route 6A.
Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters invites the public to join them for the lighting of the Snowy Owl Giant at 161 Route 6A, Sandwich, at 4:15 p.m. Kids 14 and under can enjoy free hot cocoa.
A night-time drive on Route 6A is part of the holiday spirit for residents and visitors, and the tour will now include a giant illuminated Snowy Owl that can be viewed from both directions on 6A. The giant is a whopping 15-feet-tall and 10-feet-wide.
