Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has promoted Tara Cronin to the position of Director of Resource Development for the organization.
For the past six years, Cronin has been a key member of the Habitat team, serving as Volunteer and Community Relations Manager.
During Cronin’s tenure, she has been invaluable in expanding Habitat’s volunteer corps and community outreach and working closely with many community groups and local businesses, always with the goal of getting families into homes they can afford here on Cape Cod.
“For years, Tara has worked tirelessly to care for our core volunteers and has created opportunities for new volunteers, community groups and youth. She brings kindness and a large does of sunshine to all she does,” said Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod President and CEO Wendy Cullinan.
Prior to joining Habitat for Humanity in 2017, Cronin worked in fundraising and marketing for the A.L.S Family Charitable Foundation.
“Tara is the perfect person to step into the position of Director of Resource Development. Her ability to form solid relationships and her true desire to serve Habitat’s mission will bring her success in this role,” said Cullinan.
Cronin grew up in Mashpee and went to Falmouth High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in Communications and Journalism from Suffolk University. After graduating, she ventured into the nonprofit field in marketing and fundraising.
Tara and her family live in Yarmouth.
