Hansel Named First VP, Small Business Administrative Market Executive at Rockland Trust

Rockland Trust has announced the appointment of Jeffrey Hansel as First Vice President, Small Business Administration (SBA) Market Executive.

Rockland TrustIn this role, Hansel will be responsible for leading and executing strategies that foster the expansion and development of businesses by leveraging the SBA 504 and 7(a) programs.

Hansel joins Rockland Trust with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry from underwriting, credit and small business lending. He spent the last eight years at Cambridge Savings Bank as Vice President, Small Business Lending Manager. During that time, he grew and managed the Bank’s small business lending team which received numerous awards from the SBA, including being recognized as SBA Top Lender in Massachusetts from 2018-2022.

He earned his bachelor of science in Business Management and Information Technology from Bentley University as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University.  Hansel also serves an adjunct professor at Endicott College’s School of Business as well as at Hellenic American University for their MBA Program.
