Hatchville Bakery, the local “made from scratch” Cookie Company, is opening its first brick-and-mortar-store on Saturday, March 4, at 48 Market St. in Mashpee Commons. Doors open at 10 a.m.
Established in 2019, Hatchville Baking Co. started as a hobby in Sarah Corner’s kitchen when her four children were young.
“I started by making cookies as an after school treat for my kids and their friends, then word spread quickly about my cookies and requests started coming in,” said Corner. “In the last few years, we have built our company on and around Cape Cod through pop-ups, special occasions, and mail orders. Now we’re ready to open our first store and we’re delighted it’s located at Mashpee Commons.”
Corner runs Hatchville Baking Co. with her daughter Hannah. At the store, they will offer unique cookie flavors like “Salted Brown Butter” or “Strawberries & Cream” that will rotate monthly along with a few staple flavors, like Hatchville Baking Co.’s chocolate chip cookie that will consistently remain on the menu. At the grand opening they will offer cookies, coffee and Hatchville Baking Co. merchandise including hats, bags, and sweatshirts.
