The South Shore Chamber of Commerce will host its Cohasett Excursion Saturday, July 24, as part of its Hello! South Shore campaign to assist in the regional recovery from the economic impact of COVID-19.

Join the South Shore Arts Center for their Over the Moon: South Shore Art Center on the Rise Festival. The festival overlaps with July’s full moon and will include the installation of 50 large-scale, weather-resistant banners displayed on Cohasset Town Common. Explore the mural-walk on Ripley Road (Large-scale collaborative mural by Boston and Colombian street artists on South Shore Art Center façade, 119 Ripley Road); a series of collaborative murals by South Shore teens on South Shore Art Center west exterior, along train tracks; and the “More Love is OK” mural Frank Marval on Fresh Feast façade, 105 Ripley Road.

Cohasset’s Main Street features gift shops, boutiques and the general store. Check out nearby restaurants for lunch, dinner and refreshments, such as Anchor & Sail (general store), Seabird Coffee, French Memories (patisserie), 5 South Main (casual dining), Bia Bistro (Italian/seafood), Lenny’s Hideaway (Mexican) and Red Lion.

The Hello! South Shore project encourages residents to think “local” as more than their own neighborhood or town and promote broader exploration in the region. The marketing campaign, spotlighting many excursions across the 25 cities and towns throughout the South Shore, aims to support local businesses, organizations and events.
