Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich unveiled a new logo and website, as part of its goal to
update its brand to reflect changes made over the years, including The Hidden Hollow,TM the North American Hydrangea Test Garden, the Cape Cod Hydrangea Society Display Garden, the McGraw Family Garden of the Senses and The Hundred Acre School.
The museum has also introduced new programs and events specifically for families, along with those for auto, art, history and garden lovers.
“We wanted to update our brand to reflect these changes, to more closely link our museums and gardens, and to highlight our appeal to visitors of all ages,” said Anne Scott-Putney, Heritage Museums & Gardens president and CEO. “Starting a year ago, our senior staff and trustees began work with a creative team with expertise in branding for museums and gardens. We examined our mission, strategic goals, collection highlights, visitor feedback, aesthetic qualities, and future plans. After a comprehensive process, we created this refreshed logo and color palette, which we proudly present today.”
The Heritage website was redesigned with simplified navigation and easier access to information. Putney said this will allow visitors more efficiency in learning about upcoming programs and events, registering for webinars and purchasing admissions tickets online.
