Heroes In Transition (HIT) will hold its 12th Annual Fall Gala on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel in North Falmouth.

“This event serves as a reminder of how we started and why our programs are so critical to ensuring service members, veterans, and military families can successfully transition to civilian life,” said HIT Executive Director Nicole Spencer. “We’re excited to celebrate the work we’ve done over the past year while continuing to grow so those we serve receive the support and assistance they deserve.”

Tickets to the Fall Gala can be purchased at www.heroesintransition.org and includes hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner and cash bar. There will be a silent and live auction that will include a fund-a-need, allowing guests to donate directly to support HIT’s programs.

HIT’s programs include equine therapy for military families and veterans; a Spring and Fall Couples Retreat; fishing excursions; providing service dogs to veterans, based on need; monthly outings for veterans and service members, military couples, military spouses, and military families; and financial assistance.

Keynote speakers Kristen and John Alexander of Sandwich will share their firsthand experiences about how HIT works. The pair are facilitators for HIT’s veterans, couples and spouses programs.

Bo Swayze of West Yarmouth, a marketing consultant at Cape Cod Radio and a Marine veteran, will serve as the master of ceremonies for this year’s gala.

Businesses interested in supporting this year’s event can serve as a sponsor for the Fall Gala. For details on sponsorship opportunities, email contact@heroesintransition.org.

Organizers are also looking for auction items, including gift cards, wine, tickets to sporting events, and more, for the gala. To donate to the auction, email contact@heroesintransition.org.
