Housing Assistance has expanded its services to residents on the Lower Cape and Outer Cape with a new satellite office at 78 Route 6A, Orleans.
An intake coordinator will assess clients’ needs and connect them with the appropriate department at Housing Assistance, as well as other appropriate housing and community resources. Eligible clients can schedule in-person meetings with Housing Assistance’s special service coordinator. Individuals experiencing homelessness can meet in person with a homeless outreach coordinator. The office space includes private offices for client meetings.
Housing Assistance’s new office at 78 Route 6A, Orleans, will serve residents of the Lower Cape and Outer Cape.“Given the region’s expanse and transportation needs, it is important to ensure we are providing ready access to our services to all areas of the Cape,” said Cassi Danzl, Chief Operating Officer for Housing Assistance.
The Orleans office also will allow Housing Assistance to continue and strengthen its working relationships with the Lower Cape Outreach Council, the Homeless Prevention Council and Outer Cape Health Services.
The office, which is next to the former Governor Prence Inn on Route 6A, will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The staff welcomes walk-ins, appointments and phone calls.
