Housing Assistance to Hold Info Session for New Affordable Home in Falmouth

Housing Assistance Corporation invites potential homeowners to a Virtual Info Session for an income-restricted house in East Falmouth, on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 5:30 p.m. Register for the session, which will be held on Zoom, at haconcapecod.org/lotteries 

 Built in 2019, the home at 33 Pheasant Lane is near Davisville Road in East Falmouth. It has 1,954-square-feet, including three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a one-car garage.  

Housing Assistance Corporation is overseeing the lottery for the home, which is targeted as workforce housing for families. The home will be sold for $232,500 to an eligible applicant whose income does not exceed 80 percent of Area Median Income (AMI). Income and asset restrictions apply.  

Falmouth Housing Trust purchased this home from the developer for use an affordable home with a permanent deed restriction.  

Applications for the lottery for the Pheasant Lane home can be found online at haconcapecod.org/lotteries and falmouthhousingtrust.org. Printed copies are available at the Falmouth Housing Trust Office at 200 Main St., the Falmouth Public Library on Main Street and at Falmouth Town Hall. 

The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, March 8, at 5 p.m. The lottery drawing will be held within 30 days of the application deadline.  

 The Jan. 25 Info Session will cover a range of topics, including details about the new home and the lottery application process.
